Principal Test Engineer - Manchester - £75,000 + bonus

The Company:
Lorien Global are working in partnership with a business based in Manchester City Centre. With domestic new product development and expansion into emerging markets, they're growing rapidly. This combination of additional workflow is driving the need for a Principal Test Engineer.

The Role:
As a Principal Test Engineer your responsibility will span engineering, technical leadership and strategic input. Working closely with the Engineering Leadership Team you'll be the go-to, advising across teams within the department on QA best practise and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is a genuine opportunity for to impact the QA architecture, design and best practise across the platform, we are looking for individuals who can enhance the current engineering community.

The Skill Requirements:
Candidates must have a blend of the following:

• Extensive knowledge across various testing methodologies and designing test cases (white-box, black-box, integration etc.)
• Excellent leadership qualities, including technical (Architecture and strategy) and people (Training, coaching and mentoring)
• Knowledge of Automation Testing and proficiency with coding languages (Java, Python, JS), automation frameworks such (Selenium & Cypress, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate cross teams, utilising clear and concise communication with varying levels of stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Agile development methods

• Salary up to £75,000 (Maybe negotiation for the right person)
