Inbuilding Construction Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inbuilding Construction Manager to oversee all civil works and financial controls for a major construction project. This role ensures that all activities adhere to Ericsson and local standards, with a focus on scheduling, quality management, and cost control. The ideal candidate will collaborate with service providers and project teams, identifying continuous improvement opportunities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control civil works to meet the agreed site design and financial goals.
  • Ensure that only approved materials are used and that civil works adhere to established guidelines and timelines.
  • Lead and participate in coordination and progress meetings.
  • Provide on-site supervision to minimize risks and disturbances to customer site performance.
  • Conduct safety inspections to ensure the working environment and tools meet safety standards.
  • Coordinate site activities, ensuring all teams are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee schedule adherence and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure service providers and vendors meet technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and construction procedures throughout the civil works phase.
  • Perform site inspections, audits, and verifications before, during, and after construction.
  • Provide progress updates and status reports to project management.
  • Offer technical support to service providers and other civil works contractors.
  • Monitor material deliveries and reject incorrect shipments.
  • Report performance issues and ensure compliance with civil design plans.
  • Lead and coordinate efforts between civil works and other project disciplines.
  • Maintain construction records and documentation through Site Handler, including:
  • SOW, NTP, RFDS, and other preconstruction documents
  • Civils progress and PFA verification
  • Submission and approval of close-out documents


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably with a portfolio of over 200 site builds.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex problems through analysis and adaptation.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and documentation processes.
