DAS/Wireless Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled DAS Technician to install, maintain, and service various wireless telecommunications equipment in the Indianapolis, IN region. This role requires working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to efficiently complete projects. The technician will be responsible for handling DAS, small cell, and macro system installations, as well as troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, repair, and retrofit wireless systems, including rooftop/pole mount macro, small cells, IDAS, and ODAS.
• Install vertical/horizontal cabling and determine best path routes.
• Adhere to coax and fiber installation standards, including PPC compression tool installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Install antennas, head end racks, and components (racks, radios, remote units).
• Conduct DAS, small cell, and macro-OEM installation.
• Label cables, antennas, and manage cable organization.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of DAS and/or wireless installation experience.
• Experience with blueprints, cable/hardware installation, and hand/power tools.
• Familiarity with PIM and sweep testing equipment.
• Experience in outdoor installations, including cell sites, satellites, etc.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
