Solution Architect

Our leading Financial Services client is looking for highly skilled Solution Architect to join their team for a 6 months initial contract.

Key Responsibilities

• • Strong understanding of the lending domain, including operational accounting, credit risk management, liquidity management, and financial statement reporting (e.g., balance sheet reporting)
  • Strong experience with Apigee
  • Knowledge of UML and C4 modelling
  • Knowledge of Microservice patterns including Event Sourcing patterns, Cloud Architecture and Domain Driven Design.
  • Building the banks' lending capability within their agile FinTech organisation
  • Advise and support product owners.
  • Demonstrate and communicate clearly when exceptions to standard approaches are needed.
  • Produce Architectural documentation using standard tools and working with the wider community to improve those tools.
  • Able to take on loosely defined problem statements and break them down into tractable challenges that you can solve.
  • Experience of collaborating in a diverse community and the architecture chapter
  • Able to constructively disagree, compromise and synthesise the best possible solution from multiple viewpoints and inputs.
  • Experience in building lending capabilities within a financial organisation
  • Be able to communicate complicated concepts and collaborate in a remote-first environment effectively with various teams including platform engineering, security, privacy, and risk.
