Low Voltage Technician
Dallas, TX

We're actively seeking a Low Voltage Technician to support Distributed Antenna System (DAS) installations across the Dallas region. This is a field-based role ideal for someone hands-on, mechanically inclined, and eager to build a career in telecom infrastructure. Training is provided for entry-level candidates, and the work involves traveling to job sites throughout the Dallas area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the Field Manager and/or Lead Technician
  • Assist with coaxial and fiber cable runs as part of a small install crew
  • Mount antennas and telecom hardware as needed
  • Transport materials and tools to and from job sites
  • Participate in apprenticeship training (if applicable)
  • Help with data collection and documentation during site walks for small venues and retail spaces
  • Learn and apply basic cable testing and sweep processes
  • Support with compiling closeout documentation
  • Maintain quality and timelines for day-to-day install work
  • Make sound decisions while working independently when required


Qualifications:

  • Experience pulling coax, CAT 5/6, and fiber cabling
  • Comfortable terminating coaxial cables
  • Exposure to fusion splicing and basic fiber testing
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be open to local travel between job sites in the Dallas region
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check
