Job Title: Staff Auditor
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Job Type: 6 month Contract to Hire
Pay: $35 HR W2
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in planning and conducting audits of financial, administrative, and operating activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and client policies. This role involves reviewing internal controls, policies, and procedures, and providing appraisals of internal control structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial, administrative, and operating activities.
• Review and assess internal controls, policies, procedures, documents, records, accounts, operations, and costs.
• Conduct interviews and determine the nature and extent of auditing required, making necessary adjustments to existing audit programs.
• Analyze functions and provide appraisals of internal control structures and systems.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and status updates to maintain transparency.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of financial, administrative, and operating activities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce professional documents and reports.
• Proficiency in auditing standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
