Job Summary: The Foreman is responsible for leading the team in all tower-related activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of safety and quality. This role involves strategic planning, direct supervision, and coordination with various stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations at tower sites, managing crew assignments, workflow, and project timelines.
- Oversee the safety, quality, and efficiency of all work performed by the team.
- Conduct site evaluations and prepare job plans, including safety assessments, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Manage the logistics of equipment, tools, and transportation to and from job sites.
- Report project progress, issues, and completions to management or clients as required.
- Mentor and train technicians, ensuring their professional development and compliance with industry standards.
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and crew morale.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tower construction or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Advanced certifications in tower climbing, rigging, and possibly specialized skills like PIM or Fiber Optics.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of telecom infrastructure, including 4G/5G technologies, antennas, and cabling.
- Valid Driver's license.
