Lorien's leading banking client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MongoDB to join the existing team on an initial 6month contract.
This role is based in London.
This role will be Inside IR35 Via Umbrella
Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.
Key Skills and Experiences
- Delivery of high-quality software through configuration and customisation with a focus on reuse, adding value to the business and aligning to bank standards, patterns and guardrails.
- Experience of working within Financial Services/High Street Banking
- Strong Skills working with:
- Java 17
- Spring Boot
- Kafka

- Agile
- Liaises with business stakeholders, principal Engineers, architects in the domain to shape and successfully deliver projects
