Role Overview

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you might be curious about the responsibilities of Mobile Engineering Teams at the client.

Our Mobile Engineers collaborate with designers and product managers to develop and launch new features for our applications. You will work on large-scale consumer apps that are constantly evolving, helping millions of families find the care they need for their loved ones. Our Android engineers use Kotlin, and our iOS engineers use Swift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of iOS and Android engineers, guiding them in prioritizing, developing, and releasing impactful features for our users.
• Collaborate with product leadership to create a comprehensive roadmap that reflects priorities across different areas and continuously adjust teams to respond to changing conditions.
• Tackle problems with your team, actively participate, form opinions, and advocate for engineering-specific roadmap items.
• Work with product, UX, and other disciplines to identify the best solutions for our users.
• Build your team through both internal development and external hiring.
• Enhance your leadership skills by learning from other leaders at the client and through self-directed learning.

Experience and Skills Required

• Demonstrated team leadership abilities - your management skills and technical expertise enable you to mentor others and build credibility with your team while executing broader engineering strategies.
• Proven background in mobile development, comfortable diving into code and interacting with developers at all levels of seniority.
• Experience in consuming and building APIs with considerations for mobile applications.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders (Director level and above), both technical and non-technical.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
