Service Technician - DC Power

Responsibilities:

  • Install batteries, rectifier battery plants (all voltages), ironwork, and cable racks.
  • Upgrade and replace DC power plants, primary and secondary distribution equipment.
  • Run power cables, crimp lugs, and perform lacing.

Full-time Direct Hire opportunity


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience in upgrading/replacing DC power plants, primary and secondary distribution equipment.
  • Ability to run power cables, crimp lugs, and perform lacing.
  • Understand how lead-acid batteries function.
  • Interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
  • Possess the strength and dexterity to use various hand and power tools.

Travel:

  • Travel is required as needed to customer sites. This could require overnight stays.
