Director of Revenue Management
This position will be critical to developing strategies to optimize "gross-to-net" revenue with scope including optimization of pricing (list, distributor, contract, etc.), distributor incentives, customer terms, as well as providing guidance on sales incentive program design, etc.
The Global Revenue Management team will be responsible for developing, gaining buy-in, and ensuring effective development of processes, tools, capabilities, and execution of programs to capture the highest value revenue management opportunities.
The role will report into the Chief Product and Marketing Officer (CPMO) and play a critical leadership role on the Global Product and Marketing Organization Team and in support of the Executive Leadership Team.
Experience Required:
* Experience and expert knowledge of direct and indirect B2B sales process is required.
* Minimum of 15 years experience with B2B in revenue management, pricing, finance, sales, and/or category marketing.
* Minimum of 10 years revenue management, pricing, or business analytics required
* 3 years of leadership experience required
* Revenue management, pricing, finance, or management consulting within business units
* Deep experience and knowledge of B2B pricing strategies - understanding of distributors and product distributor process through end use customers, pricing strategies, and systems.
* Global operations experience
Knowledge and Skills:
* Successful track record leading organization change management, with the ability to influence without direct accountability (demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational sensitivity).
* Effective project management, organizational, and planning skills required for multi-faceted initiatives with a demonstrated background of meeting quality standards and timelines
* Ability to proactively identify opportunities to generate value working within a complex, global, matrixed organization
* Strong track record of results delivery - financial, process/systems/tools, team, and capability development.
* Advanced analytical experience, ability to creatively identify appropriate data sources, develop hypotheses, commission and directly run detailed analyses, and develop meaningful recommendations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and appropriate executive presence required for effective interactions with peers on the Financial and Executive Leadership team.
* Proven ability to acquire, develop, retain and lead a talented revenue management team.
* Strong financial and analytical skills, knowledge of B2B go-to-market and pricing models.
