DC Power Service Manager
Centennial, CO

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive Service Manager to lead a team of Service Technicians, manage client relationships, and drive operational efficiency. This position will entail a focus on managing and maintaining DC power systems. Responsibilities include leading service teams, overseeing DC power equipment maintenance, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and industry standards, indicating a technical and regulatory focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and develop Service Technicians; oversee hiring and performance management.
  • Client Relations: Maintain and grow customer relationships while representing the company professionally.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple projects from concept to completion.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Quality & Compliance: Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Training, and Safety teams to uphold company standards.
  • Operations Management: Oversee department logistics, including equipment, materials, and tools.
  • Safety & Training: Organize safety meetings and ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications DC power
  • Knowledge of UPS systems and battery replacements
  • Experience with preventative maintenance reporting
  • Familiarity with 130V switchgear control backup systems (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
  • Understanding of electrical codes, life safety codes, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (up to 150 lbs with assistance)
  • Capability to work in various physical positions and use tools effectively


Travel:

  • Frequent travel required, including driving, flying, and overnight stays (during the week).
