DAS Technician II
DAS Technician (Level II) - Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a skilled DAS Technician (Level II) to join our team in the Phoenix market. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and be proficient in PIM and sweep testing for both coax and fiber. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing DAS equipment, structured cabling, and performing maintenance on various telecommunication systems. Experience working with major carrier equipment is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of DAS equipment and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct PIM and sweep testing for coax and fiber to ensure system performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Install and terminate structured cabling, including fiber optic and coaxial cables.
- Assist with site surveys and evaluations to support project planning and design.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all installations, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Follow safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 yeaers of experience working with DAS technology.
- Proficiency in PIM and sweep testing for coax and fiber.
- Experience with structured cabling installation and termination.
- Familiarity with major carrier equipment (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
