Lead UX Designer

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Manchester - hybrid working

Our client are on a mission to lead the global betting and gaming industry. As part of their dynamic Product teams, you'll be at the forefront of driving cutting-edge advancements that create unrivalled experiences for millions of users worldwide.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the Head of UX and Design, you will take the lead on high-impact feature developments across all digital channels, including web, mobile, and retail. As a senior figure in the product team, you will play a key role in shaping effective design processes and identifying new product development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process for high-profile projects, from discovery and research to prototyping and final high-fidelity outputs.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams and business units to uncover new product opportunities and enhance the user experience.
  • Provide creative leadership and mentorship to junior members of the UX team, fostering a culture of high performance and design excellence.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and leverage data insights to inform design decisions.
  • Drive improvements in team processes and contribute to a strong performance culture.
  • Stay informed of the latest UX and digital trends, bringing new ideas and new methods to the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of UX experience, with a strong background in leading high-profile projects that have delivered measurable business impact.
  • Expertise in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and research platforms (e.g., Quantum Metrics, UserZoom).
  • Extensive experience conducting user research and applying lean UX methods.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across various departments and teams.
