Senior Delivery Manager

You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. Due to company growth, the team are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join their Strategic Operations team to focus on the delivery of the strategic goals of the In-Market Large and Regional Hub business area globally through implementation of transformative business processes and technology changes. This is an exciting opportunity where you will lead the delivery of one of their key workflow initiatives within the portfolio of work which will be a cornerstone of the strategic direction for In-Market Large and Regional Hub. As a result, this role will be key to the effective delivery of business outcomes by co-ordinating efforts into one team with a unified vision that works to a common set of objectives and timelines.

Main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sponsors and senior stakeholders to create a delivery approach that will result in required business outcomes. Ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Contribute to the development of the vision and roadmap.
• Overall ownership of the delivery of all workstreams.
• Accountable for developing and achieving Operational Key Results.
• Orchestrate the partnership of delivery across business architecture, business agility technology and change. management that will enable the overall achievement of business goals.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience acting as an initiative/programme/delivery manager
• Strong insurance/London Market industry experience - Proven track record in the delivery of insurance related initiatives
• Experience working with delivery teams aligned to agile ways of working and creation of business value through business and technical change initiatives
• Demonstrable experience delivering and understanding global operations
• Ability to influence the direction and thinking of c-suite stakeholders
